Voted : Yes
This story by Die Welt am Sonntag shocked me.
Voted : Yes
It goes to show most people are hypocrites in some way or other. What I think most on this planet wants is to be accepted and respected, but I don't think that will ever happen for all, sad but IMO true.
yeah, who do you think those immigrants were? just a guess.

Voted : No, not at all
*Nothing* surprises me these days. Unfortunately...
Those immigrants weren't Moooooslims were they?
lcb- Die Welt am Sonntag did not specify what type of immigrants they were. They may have been Muslim, considering the proportion of immigration to Germany that they comprise. However, to assume that they must have been Muslim or that it is only Muslims that can ahve such problems is not true. They could very well have not been Muslim. There are many other varying types of barbarians out there too.
Die Welt is a tabloid rag, socrates, and I *knew* this ballot was from you before I clicked on it. Matey, can't you see how prejudiced you are?
ramaDUNG- "Die Welt is a tabloid rag" So? That doesn't mean that the story is untrue. "Matey, can't you see how prejudiced you are?" - I am prejudiced against violations of individual rights. Indeed.
Voted : socrates is a xenophobic little tub-thumper
No, I was referring to your persistent attacks on ethnic minorities. You are racist, matey - no question about it. Even the banned bigot herzog tried to remember to limit his screed of hatred to actual terrorists, you're not even bothering to make a distinction. You're a disgrace.
Re. Die Welt - again, you're way out of your intellectual depth. Die Welt belongs to the Springer-Verlag, a notorious right-wing German media empire. In all probability, the story has been twisted out of all proportion to conform with the prejudices of its readership.
Dung: So it is wrong to criticise individuals who happen to be members of an ethnic minority? Of course this doesn't take into account that I am an ethnic minority Westerner. "You are racist, matey - no question about it." - I do not hold any prejudices based on genetics. I criticise violations of individual rights, and specific cultural and sub-cultural traditionalism that are used to do so. "Even the banned bigot herzog tried to remember to limit his screed of hatred to actual terrorists, you're not even bothering to make a distinction." - I oppose all individuals who oppose individual rights. Why should I limit myself to terrorism? And yeah, Die Welt is slightly conservative. That doesn't mean that they have fabricated a story.
