Sounds like you're consistent.
Voted : Religion?
Religion is clearly a larger threat to humanity based upon the simple fact that they operate on a non-rational (some might even say irrational) basis. However, lest we rush too swiftly to judgement, let us remember that science has brought us the hydrogen bomb and the means to deliver it planet-wide. The real threat arises when countries ruled by religious zealots gain control of earth-ending technologies.
^yep Margaret, science has also gave us all the conventional weapons that made it possible to start the wars and make the chemical weapons to perform the genocides and build the planes to drop the bombs to mine the earth that erode the land that caused the floods that contaminated the water that destroy the crops that starve the people. Science also made it possible to find the oil to run the factories to build the crap and run the cars that releases the emissions that is destroying the planet as we breath the polluted air , none of this would have could had been made possible without science.
Yes, I know science has also found ways to feed millions, great advances in medicine and other good things, but also a lot of bad. IMO
I'd say neither. Individual inventors have done more, and they didn't necessarily care anything about science. The fact is that mainstream scientists seem to spend far too much time telling us what can't be done, and getting it wrong about what can be done. They are as dogmatic as any other religion
