we have to I guess. Although I'll grow some food as soon as it warms up and I'll shop at my local farmers' market :D It's just impossible to tell where all the ingredients originally came from in some packaged/shipped foods. (btw, the less meat you eat then the less energy's been spent growing, processing and shipping your food.. just to give you the tip of THAT iceburg ;)

Let's say, I trust food from other countries less.
Actually, not to be nit pickey, but most of our food does not come from overseas. Most of the food consumed in the USA is homegrown, including vegtables, crops, fruit, meats and fish products. The USA is the largest exporter of food...we import very little, except for high specialty products (e.g. Caviar, etc.) The issue in this case is an additive to Wheat Gluten. The additive came from China. Just watned to set the record straight on that.
