Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Money. Matthew 19:21-24 Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. The message is clear. If you want to follow Jesus, you need to "sell your possessions and give to the poor."
