No, never. Wisdom is the awareness that you dont know everything. Most people die thinking they know it all.

Sometimes positive thinking evaporates when old folk no longer experience the youthful joy of being physically agile and of having plans and hopes for a rosey future.

Some of the wisest stuff I've ever heard has come from little kids who can barely make complete sentences.

Though all knowledge is attainable through the collective consciousness.

It is a generalisation; however, generalisations are generally true. You will find among a lot of youth an indulgence in wishful thinking that often clash with facts, empirical evidence, reality.

'It is not wise to be a compassionate fool. Compassion is useless without realism.' Who did I hear this kind of realist rhetoric from? Buddha actually.

So I am going to disagree with the majority of voters here, declare they are wrong, and insist that with age comes more experience, and with that likely further interaction with realistic constrainst.

The evident indulgence in unrealistic idealism among youths that clash with facts and empirical evidence is unwise.

But of course not all old people are 'wise', except that having lived so long they have experienced more things and 'Ought to' be able to come up with some good words of advice..!
