All four of them. I take care of those suckers. They closed my teeth up so I never had to wear braces.

Good luck, LCD. Let us know how it goes.

LCD, It's a good thing. I had suffered frequent inner ear infections for years untiI got an abcess and had my upper wisdom teeth removed. Now I rarely have any sinus or respirtory problems other than the normal allergies.

thanks, I am scared to death.

mine closed up my teeth too, until it got it too crowded and it started to ruin the orthodontic work my parent spent thousands on.

Going to a dentist is MY definition of hell on earth :)

Two weeks from now your teeth will be all relaxed..not pressuring each other..it'll feel great....and..uh, if you have any of those ..uh,.. Oxycodones left over, would you donate them to the 'Keep Spanky Fresh' Foundation?...Thanks.

Getting a wisdom tooth is not just dentistry, its a form of surgery. Those sucks are a fully fledged extension of your jaw, so they are, in fact, tearing out a piece of your jaw. Which, as you can imagione, can get very messy (not to mention painful)

The closest equivalent I can think of is having one of the verterbrae pulled out of your back.

^ Did that help at all?

^your so mean lmao.
by minni_the_minx on Fri May 04, 07 4:43am [+]

Yeah, and save some of those pain meds for me too!
by mojo on Fri May 04, 07 5:22am [+]

Lol, what King said is not far from the truth, there's no point in sugar coating it.

You'll feel it more afterwards, but how you cope with it depends on your pain threshold and the pain killers you've got. It's bearable for a few days.

Remember, there's a fine line between pain and pleasure! In my house anyway eek

I've had one out.

The sound of something becoming detached from your skull with pliers is something you won't soon forget. eek

I think I do. Don't recall having them pulled, though I do have that annoying nine-month hole in my head.
