COMMENTS:
Both Abraham Lincoln and Harry Truman were vilified in the press and in the public, but now they're in the top echelon of presidents. If Bush's grand plan for the middle east actually works, and in 20-50 years democracy flourishes in the region and worldwide Islamo-Terrorism is decimated, he will indeed be lauded as a visionary. That's why liberals want us to lose in Iraq. It would just kill them to discover that George W. Bush was right.
Voted : No, and Rush needs a new tailor
Arthur Wellesley, aka the Duke of Wellington is remembered as a hero to the British public because he defeated Napoleon. It is often overlooked that he was one of our worst prime ministers ever, who hated the idea of extending the franchise to the common classes. However, they didn't have the internet back in them good ol' days, so Bush will probably be remembered as a stupid cunt.
Voted : No, Rush must be back on the Oxy-Contin
Let's consider the source. Rush is a fat hypocritical, pill popping, lying pig. The only story history will tell about Bush is the details of his arrest (hopeful!) and imprisonment for life in Gitmo.

"If Bush's grand plan for the middle east actually works, and in 20-50 years democracy flourishes in the region and worldwide Islamo-Terrorism is decimated, he will indeed be lauded as a visionary." ... and if pigs could fly. The guy didn't do his homework for the 'grand plan'. He didn't know the difference between Sunnis, Shi'ites and Kurds when he started his war. He didn't feel it was necessary to even send in people who understood their language. He thought we had accomplished our mission in Iraq over 3 years ago. That's ignorance combined with arrogance -- hardly the characteristics of a visionary. Everyone who disllikes Bush isn't a liberal (70% of the population). And everyone who disagrees with this war doesn't want us to 'lose'. Many military heroes, with brains in their heads and medals on their chests -- and, by the way, well known for their conservatism -- feel that the war has been mismanaged and that we should set a timetable for bringing our troops home.

Voted : Yes, now pass the Kool-Aid
Bush will be considered great in the same manor Enus the Space Chimp was considered great.
The electronic/digital record doesn't lie: "As you know, my position is clear -- I'm the commander guy." --George W. Bush, who apparently is no longer "The Decider," Washington, D.C., May 2, 2007 Long after we're dead and gone Bush's record will not be in question. What will be in question is how & why the United States ever elected a lying, moronic, criminal like GWB. I'm sure comparisons will be made between Nazi Germany and Bushy America. I suspect, however, the burning question of the future will be, "What the hell was Bostonian smoking on the morning of 5 May 07?"
