COMMENTS:
I've never done them myself nor do I intend to, I just thought it would be a fun topic.
once upon a time, as i was surveying the drab, sorry state of human existence, some fungi told me that humans were meant for better things. Unfortunately - they did not elaborate.
however that was not a hallucination - it was a conversation with the mushrooms
Voted : I'm melting,...all of my wickedness..is melting OOoooo noo I'm melting..
once when I was a wee-snip of an Undergrad, I found myself working in the Mycology Lab..complete w/ Autoclave and Spore Index to every Psilocybe variety harvested thus far....I remember the Lawn Undulating like the surface of the Ocean and the Neon essence of everything living around me...but then of course, I had to graduate and get a fucking Job like everybody else...
Only organic, a few times. No hallucinations though... kind of what spanky said. That, and laughing until I hurt.

The truth is I don't want to get into it because I'll write 100 pages. :)
Well what were some of the highlights?
OK. Just first to clarify, the hallucinations which come from hallucinogens, as you may well already know, are not "true hallucinations" in the sense that they do not represent coherent objects which pop out of no where. Hallucinations from hallucinogens are based in reality, and most frequently are distortions (sometimes massive) based on environmental stimuli, and to a certain extent the individual's frame of mind. In other words it's extremely rare to see a fully-formed object which appears out of nowhere and seems real, say an anthropomorphic watermelon, floating in front of you and start talking jive. Now, you may see this jive-talking anthropomorphic watermelon come alive if you're already looking at a watermelon, but that's still a very complex hallucination. Anyway the point is that most of the time when we talk about hallucinations that are from hallucinogens (vs. psychosis/schizophrenia), we're either talking about sensory distortions or somewhat vague hallucinations in that they may (for example) be semi-transparent, blurred, rapidly transforming, artful, or otherwise 'unclear'. Visual distortions often take the form of geometric patterns or any number of "special effect filters", ranging from simple augmentation of color to fractal patterning. And of course--particularly with LSD--one may experience the blending of the senses, or synesthesia.

I lied, not tbc. :( Though one highlight was went a statue of a little girl game alive, and I really believed that she was alive. I tried to speak with her. No luck.
