crimes against society? You don't have to be a US citizen to register your opinion. Just use what you know or perceive the USA to be. Of course, we do live here. I'll be interested to see how the answers differ, or IF they differ.
We've all heard the tired old rhetoric "no one is above the law;" but, do you truly believe that to be the case in our current social and cultural environment here? Why or Why Not? Apologies if I have offended anyone with the pic I chose; but, what's done, is done.

Not yet. But the day will come. Lieutenant William Calley was treated as a scapegoat / hero for killing civilians in Vietnam. I don't think that would happen now. And the Nixon pardon was very unpopular at the time. I do think the tide will turn at some point, and that crooks at the top will finally go to jail. Enron was a small step in the right direction. I think more will follow.

I think it's "Crimes against Humanity," isn't it? I hope one will not, only because I hope they would never committ the crimes that Bush has. So, let's hope it starts and ends with Bush and that all future Preisdents won't ever committ the crimes Bush is committing.

No US president will ever be convicted of crimes against humanity because America has a two tiered justice system in which the upper class really is exempt from common laws. American presidents display upper-class virtues (like theft and mass murder) for the benefit of the upper class. Middle and lower class Americans get the highest incarceration rate in the world but feel very fortunate that the world hates us because we’re free.
