Voted : Never heard of this, and am shocked!
I had NEVER heard of this, got it in an email and found it to be true! My heart goes out to this couple and their families

This is absolutely disgusting. It's people like this that make me not only support the death penalty, but want to be the guy with the needle. And I would have absolutely no regrets slipping a little something special in their needles.
The press have become so biased it's incredible. Being "racist" is a crime worse than rape, torture and murder in their pathetic liberal eyes.
Voted : I've heard of this, it should have been more public!
No corporate media outlet would go near this story. They were busy this week waiting to see if the President would show up an hour earlier to Greensburg, Kansas than he did to New Orleans. In other news... "Slim", "Rome", "Detroit" and "E" have just signed a record deal with Aaron Rosenberg and Mitchell Goldstein.
It's absolutely appalling and deserves to be widely covered, and should have received more coverage right from the start. However, where's Fox News on this deal? Only some kind of idiot would suggest that Fox is liberal. So where's the 24/7 coverage from the conservative network that spend more time covering the death of Anna Nicole Smith than ANY OTHER NETWORK?
My instant reaction was disgust, but how do you know this is true if no news outlet covered it?
Voted : Heard of it,not surprised at all over no coverage
^ I read about this from a few different sources both web and linking local sources.I see no distortions from socal's sources. KAG,there's LOTS of stuff going unreported.Ron Paul won the first Republican debate although I doubt more than few people here know about it.He was an absolute underdog yet the mainstream press treated portrayed his win as an accident.Otherwise they erased his name with the big name candidates. Why?Well,he is a true conservative as in against interventionalism, the federal reserve,IRS,ICC, NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and CAFTA ...Most conservative minded people who hear his message shed the neocon pseudo-conservatism facade for the real deal as proven by the first debate. Some people don't want you to know who he is and they're afraid. Basically the mainstram media = infomercial.
TNG: They should cover it, too.

Without a doubt this crime was brutal and horrific, however, how do you know this had anything to do with race Social? Why inject the race card into this crime? This reads like a Herzog ballot...The individuals that committed this crime are evil individuals who happen to be Black...Had their victims been Black, would we being reading a ballot about how distubing these killings were? The point is, this story should have received CNN like coverage because of the nature of the crime and why it did not I really can not say... America is driven by race and when the first opportunity appears to villify people by race, some Americans can't resist the opportunity... Trust me, these individuals will receive the death penalty, however, had the racial roles been reversed, the criminals more than likely would not receive the death penalty, however, life in prison without the possibilty of parole... I know of a case where a Black Marine was kidnapped by 3 white guys, beaten and decapitated and they received life in prison with the possibility of parole...Now, does this incident meet the criteria of a hate crime? The point is, criminals are made up of ALL colors and one color should not be punished more severely than another for committing the same criminal act... BTW, congratulation for giving it the attention that CNN did not give it...

One of the worst I've heard for brutality.
Babs "criminals are made up of ALL colors and one color should not be punished more severely than another for committing the same criminal act" So you are definitely saying that hate laws are wrong and should be abolished? I just need you to say exactly that so I can quote you in future when you say exactly the opposite thing when a black man is brutally murdered, ok? Ok, are you ready? Now speak clearly and diectly into the microphone. Right, " I think hate criems are wrong and should be abolished", now repeat *holds microphone towards babs*
If this story is true, and you don't support the death penalty for a case like this, then there is something seriously wrong with you.
^Too many deserve the death penalty, but the human error factor won't go away.
KATG, try to wipe your drooling mouth on this one, your rabid dog response is frightening to say the least... What I am saying is, the balloteer had not proven that this is a hate crime... I stand by my original comments, until I receive ALL the facts of this case, I do not consider this crime a hate crime...Brutal as it was, do to the nature of the crime, it is most certainly a death penalty case (Murder in the 1st degree with special circumstances), although I do NOT believe in the death penalty because of his human error ratio and it is most DEFINITELY racially bias...Now, take my response to your question as you deem necessary... Oh and BTW KATG, take that microphone and shove it, oh, nevermind, you would most DEFINITELY enjoy that, disregard...
Correction: "because of *its* human error ratio...
Two things to say to that; 1) Why do YOU think it received little to no coverage? 2) Can you honestly say you wouldnt be calling it a hate crime if the guy that was killed was black and the assailants white? I think the courts certainly would.
What you think really does not matter, the decision would differ from state to state... The bottomline is, I stand by my commentaries regarding this matter on two counts, there was NOT enough information provided by the balloteer and America has a fasination with race and until the issue of race is addressed honestly, there will always be people with rabid dog instincts to misrepresent the facts regarding race... You are a prime example of those who misrepresent the facts which it is your right to do so...
"America has a fasination with race and until the issue of race is addressed honestly" YOU are a prime example of someone who prolongs the post-slavery knee-jerk obsession with race, by insisting on demonising white males and propagating the idea that "hate" laws are anything but racist and detrimental in themselves. Most importantly, you are a hypocrite and/or a liar, in that YOU would be the "rabid dog" if the victim was black and this story had received no coverage. You are either lying to me or lying to yourself, I cant quite decide. Either way, you have issues of self loathing that may require psychiatric help.
capisca?!
^ There you go again with your rabid DOG, knee JERK and psychosis response... Siete cane pazzesco... Why don't you grow up and cease your pathetic attempts of justifying your hateful position...You are the poster child of self loathing...Lithium is calling... Capite?
ok Babs, lol. In a boccalupo to you.
Babs the reason i think it should be noted a hate crime (though it seems only hate crimes are hate crimes when the victims are black and done by whites) is because as i stated this was premeditated and if the role was reversed it would be concidered a hate crime by the courts. Premeditated. Which means they chose their victims. They chose this young white couple, and speaking from experience if you knew prison environents, the environments from which these killers were from (each had at least 16 felonys) it's a very racist world for them. If 5 whites, that had that many felonys and were in and out of prison which is a completely racially segregated "community" had tortured so brutally a young black couple PREMEDITATEDLY, Jesse Jackson would be having a feild day, and this would be broadcast on every news channel. The Rodney King beating was SUCH a hate crime and we all know about that "hate crime" and he was a black CRIMINAL! For guys like this, i AM for the death penalty...but i think torturing them in this way would be even better I can't imagine being alive while someone was cutting off my breasts, i just couldn't... and yes this story is VERY true: wate.com/Global/story.asp?S=6023706 The suspects:
^Sadly enough social, I think you are on the very precipe of "reading between the lines" so to speak, and it doesnt get any more pleasant from here on out. The reality is that "reverse" racism is a major problem in the western world, and not one that the current political climate allows debate about, let aloneinstitutional change. It doesnt make you a racist to notice whats going on in front of your very eyes, but you will be branded one eventually. I conceptualise you at this juncture as Neo waking from the matrix into a world of injustice and pain. The trick is to not let the knowledge of such injustice consume you with bitterness, just try to do a little every now and gaian to correct the situation if its within your power. And ignore Babs, hes the equivalent of one of those gigantic robotic turds that float across the human fields, perverting your judgement and harvesting your energies.

Get the chains, blow torches, curling irons, baseball bats, ropes, coke bottles, pliers, claw hammers, nails, guns, whips, gasoline, bleach, ammonia, etc. and let me and a few of my friends spend a few quality days with these fucks...
^ Kick ass!!
There is no amount of mans inhumanity to man that would ever shock or surprise me. I have found that if some one could even dream of some demented act , that someone else has probably already done it.
Voted : I've heard of this, it should have been more public!
crime isn't crime. these bastards that did this deserve full retribution, no matter what race, religion or ethnicity. Using hate and race laws a creating more of polarization wen a crim elike this purely senseless . the victims of this terrible atrocity alos have to have thier story told, so the absurd hate crime laws can be repealed. What happened here shows a bias of racial polarity and that when one segemtn of the society is allowed to be scapegaoted, the other can create crimes far worse than thier counterparts.
