In today's paper (may 12th) it tells that in AP that Congress ties Bush for least popular and is doing such a dreary job as Bush.
The AP poll says that Bush gets a 35% rating of how he is doing his job but the Democrat Congress also got a 35% rating.
Bush gets a 33% rating on how he is handling Iraq.
Pelosi gets a 45% rating on how she is doing her job.
Both parties' rating is rather bleak.
Do you feel that the Democrat Congress is handling its job in an acceptable way?

Yes, I do- and they are doing great
Yes, I do- in an acceptable amount.
No, but it is not that dreary.
No, they are as or almost as dreary as Bush.
Unsure of how Congress is doing.
Presently, both parties are full of you know what...
They can't do much with Bush vetoing every bill they pass
No, they are far worse than Bush.

Do not be fooled, the Democratic Consgress hands are tied when the Chimp vetos most if not every piece of proposed legislation presented...

I believe that both parties will NOT accomplish much of anything positive for the American people while the Chimp is in office and that should be a crime in itself.

This back and forth bickering and personal attacks between the two parties demonstrates not only to the American people, however, to the world that American politics is BS and most American Politicians (on both sides of the political spectrum)are full of Sh*t...

I think a lot of people get all drawn into what the politicians say during their campaigns, but what it all boils down to is one thing: maintaining.

What the white house and congress end up doing is trying to maintain the country in such a way that things keep moving along, it has very little to do with who believes in abortion or free choice, or who believes in universal health care for all, it's all about maintaining the status quo.

Oh, the two parties will talk the talk and bash one another, but when it all comes down to it, neither is really any better than the other.

In my local election, we have a corrupt mayor running for re-election against two token opposition. Also one of the mayor's corrupt yesman is running for re-election as my local county commisioner. He might win again too although there is an outside chance that this person will be defeated-maybe- but I wonder if it will really matters in the long run. T
