Bush says he supports a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. At least that's what he says during election years but I don't think he cares one way or the other about gays. I think he craves the support of the fundamentalist for two reasons. The first being their numbers and the second being the fact that they are ignorant enough to believe even the most ridiculous claims in the bible without an once of proof (hell they think it's a virtue). Does GWB really like the fundamentalists or does he just crave their support cause they believe anything without an once of proof? He really likes them He's just using them.
