[+] serious ballot by contragrain ACTIVE Sat May 12, 07 - Sun May 11, 08 Okay, some might say we didn't get a lot of newsworthy front page coverage on Friday, May 11 in our regional newspaper. Reporter Frank Greves from McClatchy's Washington Bureau did an article on the impact of Viagra and it's rivals on American Culture. Apparently, initial projections were that Viagra alone would bring in 5 billion $ a year in revenue; however, as ED prescriptions have settled into their niche in the medical market, all of them combined (Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, etc.) have only been bringing in about 3 billion. Now, I don't take and don't NEED the drugs. But, if and when I ever do, you better damned well know I'm going to my doctor to get a prescription. The expose' further articulated various professional perceptions of Viagra's impact on those within our society. The elderly, the young, heterosexuals, homosexuals (particularly gay men), and women. The consensus is that is a Rx for sex. Elderly couples seem to benefit most. Among the young, women, and homosexual men, it has shown to be used promiscously and STD's among users show a distinct correlatory rise. What do you think? Do you know any who have taken or currently takes the drug? This isn't about any one sexual group. It's about sex itself, especially as it relates to the use of ED intended drugs. What have been your observations? Is it dangerous? Does it shorten the time of intimacy and foreplay that many women complain about? ED related drugs have a bad influence on culture. See comment.
