COMMENTS:
Moore is the liberal version of Ann Coultier, which is amusing to me.
voted: It will expose this administration's failure and ineptness to develop a comprehensive Health Care system... You are amusing to me more so than either... I love it when Mikey slap his critics like the crash DUMMIES they all are...or like a disobedient mutt with the morning newspaper, either way, both metaphor works for me
... except Moore doesn't label presidential candidates as 'faggots' and people who disagree with the current administration as 'traitors'. whatever

BBC, Mojo, yes, the admin is incompetent, but Moore does have a tendency to selectively edit what he wants the public to see and not see.

Michael Moore is partisan. However, laissez-faire health care is great for the rich, expensive for the middle class (especially since many companies cut health benefits and raise co-payments) and destructive for the poor. Also, the poor only get emergency medical care instead of preventive medicine. Emergency room care is much more expensive, and the costs often get passed on thru health insurance companies to corporations to the consumer. So if Moore is partisan, that doesn't mean he's always wrong.
"It will expose this administration's failure and ineptness to develop a comprehensive Health Care system..." BBCakes What, as opposed to all the other administrations before it that were successful and deft in developing a comprehensive health care system?
That's my issue with it Bostonian. I don't believe free health care can work here any better than in Canada, but there should be more restrictions on health care being "for profit" on the actual 'service' side, if you will. Low income people should still have to pay something for it, but it should be like a 20 dollar copay and then discuss whatever the monthly charge to cover your family is, based on how much income you make. There is honestly no reason a husband and wife making 35,000 a year between the two of them should be paying 800 dollars just for the coverage, let alone having the 3000 dollar deductable which effectively f'ing boots the health care to totally useless unless you are gambling on a catastrophic injury or illness.
For the average Canadian, the universal health care system works well. In fact, surveys show that is the government service they would least like to lose. The rightwing propaganda machine has convinced many middle and lower class Americans that no coverage is better than basic coverage. Go Michael.
Boston, the present administration has destroyed this country in many areas and on many levels. You have decided to remain blind to that fact... aya, that is your opinion and you know what they are like... Hey Mikey, put some of that mustard on a dog for me pal
Just looking at Michael Moore says enough about America's health care system.
The movies are not meant to be viewed as conventional documentaries. Moore inserts himself and his opinions into his movies (starting with Roger and Me). I don't know if this is going to be a partisan attack like Fahrenheit 9/11 and unlike Bowling for Columbine--which made some interesting points about how the (media) helps breed fear. But I don't really see what the big deal is with Michael Moore. If he's so bad, don't see the movie. You can escape the wrath of Moore. It is harder to avoid Administration rhetoric and propaganda.
It amazes me when people totally discount Moore's work... as if there were absolutely no truth to his documentaries, at all... talk about partisan!
