There are people on Best & Worst who are really mean spirited, on a continual basis. I can be that way, admittedly, typically in response to the same, but some people are just that way with every ballot and comment they make, which is irritating.

But then there are those who put on this nice friendly front, who have lots of people brainwashed into thinking they are oh so nice, while sending out spiteful private messages and doing other things that are quite the contrary to their supposed 'friendly' nature.

Which do you believe is worse?

Acting nice but really being mean.
Just plain being mean all the time.

Acting nice while being mean irks me to no end. It's happened to me several times on this site. I can smell phoniness from miles away, so don't think that I'm buying it for a minute.
