It's almost summer, and like many of you i want to look great in my bikini (not that all of you are wearing a bikini and not that i don't...but you get my drift) so what, in your opinion, is the fastest way to shed those extra annoying winter pounds?

LEGALLY, that is, if you can only order it online, buy it from a store etc.

Ephedrine or Ephedra pills
Riding a bmx bike
Swimming
desoxyn (pharmaceutical meth)
Grief and anxiety :-((
WALKING at least 2 miles a day
Chitosan (unless you are allergic to shellfish). This stuff works. At healthstores.
Eat less, exercise more
Pure Ephedrine, lifting weights, eating healthy, swimming, riding BMX
Chop off your arms and legs
straight starvation

I am hearing alot about an herb called "Hoodia". Not like Hoodia trust. This herb is supposed to make you feel full not by swelling in your tummy, but by telling your brain you are through with eating. Africans or Aborigines or some other group used to chew this herb while on extended hunting trips so they could go without eating and not feel hungry. I have researched this herb and do not find any contraindications for high blood pressure or anything like that. I haven't used it yet because hunger is not a big issue with me. But if it works to help someone stay on a diet safely, then great!

I'm very lean right now, but I wouldn't recommend this diet. I look better with a bit more poundage, and I bet you do too.

note: swimming doesn't usually make people lose weight, though it's wonderful for health and very low impact.

Most diets have in common eating less and exercising more. My experience has been that it is better to diet without exercise as a weight loss strategy. Exercising is definitely good for you and will increase weight loss, but it will also make you very hungry and therefore more likely to overeat and go off your diet.

Thanks for the info all of you guys :)

OK last year i was FIT, and i took ephedrine, swam like crazy because the ephedrine (pure from a weight training shop that my father in law got for me because he was a body builder but had to stop doing steroids in his old age) and those curb your appetite and make you want to lift hard and work out hard...and i swam and lifted weights in my garage and i was FIT, not skinny, athletic...i need to do this again this year i guess!

Fuck it, i'm ordering some online right now, it's called Vasapro and it's also good for atshma which i just happen to haveMAG_roygbiv

Did *wonders* for me. I went from a size 9 to a 5 in a month an a half with nothing but depression & insomnia.

Thanks Mary Jane! I don't trust diets & pills... only exercise, sleep and mary jane. ;)

Voted : straight starvation
nothing fancy, just stop eating for 3 days at a time.

drink plenty of water, followed by vegetarian diet with plenty of fiber.

Guaranteed to drop 5lb each time you do it (don't do it more than once a month)
by LCD on Mon May 14, 07 11:02pm [+]

I'm gonna just starve! But like LCD said eat vegetarian (or try very hard too with all the yummy frappacchinos they have out now!)

I'll just starve and pop ephedrine pills...and then force myself to eat salad.

Then ofcourse i have a pool and i swim laps and i'll ride the bmx bike around the block, oh man i should be doing that now, lol
by socal_sweetie on Tue May 15, 07 8:54am [+]

Straight starvation is NOT an option.

For fucks sake. It's not rocket science. Eat less. Exercise more.

If you do it any other way you'll either gain the weight straight back or seriously damage your health.
by wideheadofknowledge on Tue May 15, 07 4:34pm [+]

Oh i excersize more than i eat usually, and by starving i meant more along the lines of veganism. I call it starving cause i take out dairy and meat, which leaves out pretty much everything i like to eat :/
by socal_sweetie on Wed May 16, 07 5:49am [+]

LCD, rather irresponsibly, says not to eat for three days straight. Ignore him.

The key to exercising more and eating less is vital - you say "I exercise more than I eat". What does that mean? The time you spend on these activities? If so, that means nothing. You need to burn off more calories through exercise than the amount you take in via your diet.

Don't remove anything from your diet. Meat and dairy products are vital sources of required nutrients. Cutting them out entirely is not good for you.

Hit the gym (or go running, swimming etc anywhere) 3 times a week for at least a good 30-45 minute cardiovascular workout and you'll not only lose weight but you'll start to feel much healthier.

Lifestyle change is for more effective than radical dietary ones.

Ask anyone who knows what they're talking about - i.e. not a bunch of idiots on the web or someone with a book to sell.

I think you're right to a point but i get my protein from dark leafy greens and the dairy, well i can't seem to cut that out fully (i had a string cheese yesterday) and mayo is really good with my tuna sandwhich, lol but i try to eat healthy.

I just need to work on the getting out and excersizing part.

I need to get out and ride the bikes, i just hate out neighborhood and the looks i get when i'm outside, it's creepy. But i can swim in the pool, which is good excersize...i miss living closer to my grandparents, they lived up in the hills and i hiked so much it was awesome. I miss that.

Thanks for the help knowledge :)
