The Music Companies have been sueing people for downloading music illegally. The intent was to stop that practice. There was a big commotion at first but it seems to have calmed down.

The likelyhood of being sued is about the same as winning the lottery. With those odds do you still download music illegally?

I used to be anti-downloading because, as a budding writer, I wouldn't want someone to waltz onto a website and pick up, gratis, the sweat of my brow. But then I, though a few contacts I have in the music industry, I began to learn how the music biz works, basically selling us all a *sound" at the cost of the music. I wasn't terribly happy to hear that. Still, it took me a few years to start the process, and I don't do it every day, restricting myself only to pulling down songs from my past that I can't find in used record stores.

And, even if he *is* a Federale, I'm not worried. I've had Trent Lott try to crawl up my a$$ and lay eggs. Find *worse* to scare me with...
