I picked a lot of the 50's stars because I think they were the most glamorous compared to today's standards.
And if you noticed, I also added choices like Wilma & Fred (cartoon characters) Dan & Roseanne (american whitetrash.)
Like I said, I don't think Brad & Angelina are glamorous and there are lots of other couples throughout history who are more admired, real or not. As far as me adding mostly American choices... Well, I'm an American, that's who I know best.
