I liked the Velvet Underground and a foreign language album or two, but I don't think I'll ever try Metal Machine.

I love it myself, but I'll be damned if I try to show anyone how sophisticated I am by analyzing every bar of Beethoven's 5th. It's good music and I'll accept it at that. I'll leave the complicated stuff for the pros.

I know a lot of people who keep Vivaldi CDs in their living rooms on prominent display, but keep Green Day in their cars and MP3 players.
And how come every time a rocker does something weird people always say that it sounds like free jazz? It is what it is.
