Some sites, especially porn sites, take over your computer, they change your home page, cause pop ups to occur continuously , makes your online experience very unpleasant.

Do they think by causing this to happen to your computer, it will make you want to visit their site again?

Once I finally get their shit off, I never go back, I can’t be the only one who feels this way.

So why do they do this to people?

What is their logic?

They think messing up your computer will make you want to visit their site even more
They are idiots
Are u still using Internet Explorer??

Makes me glad that I have avast!, because it provides fast warning of such hijack attempts, and they'll walk you through the process of making sure that your machine didn't get tagged.

I think the internet is like real life in that, while there is good out there, stupidity and evil are on the web as well. Things got that crazy with me once. I turned the power off on my PC before anything bad happened, but it did seem like the work of an evil idiot.

I always try to see what I can see for free and Mcafee constantly keeps me out of trouble...only a real idiot would try to download script, hijack your homepage, install spyware and maleware and expect you to actually buy something online with personal info from them...
