Lewis Hamilton, F1's first black driver, won the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday to open up an eight point world championship lead over teammate and rival, Fernando Alonso. The rookie driver has stood on the podium for all six of his races, and at twenty two, is still going to get much, much better. Just how good is Lewis Hamilton?

Top notch. Everybody though Alonso was unbeatable but Hamilton is proving them wrong and in doing so he brought some flavour back to a sport where the public already new who was going to win even before the begining of the race.

it's good to be the first of anything, and he will be remembered as such, much like Danica Patrick.
