LCD I didn't say anyone does care or should care. I'm just curious as to why those people are being ignored. Have you failed to notice that the very people being ignored by the most people are in fact the very ones who attack everyone? Don't you care? I said I was not passing judgement and I am not. I'm only asking the question. Please respect my right to do so.

^^^^ What LCD said. Ignoring *anyone* lessens the opportunity you have to *learn* from that person. When I first came here, I disagreed with a few things that Cathexis had to say (still do), but I also learned many things from him. I'm a better person for it.

I don't think it really matters. Personally, I think using the ignore function should be the very last resort. First you try to work it out and get to know one another better. If you still can't, then just avoid contact. But if all else fails, then I can see the value. I also think some users opt for the ignore feature far too quickly and that says much about their ability to interact with others (I think it's called "playing nicely with others" :)
What kind of ballot is this? It is just mean-spirited and unnecessarily ugly. What possible good can come of such a ballot? Were it a "joke" ballot, it might have some value, but it is an attack on long-time and valued members of B&w.
What does this ballot say about the author?
NewGirl, let's just please leave it at this. To my knowledge, you and I have never had much interaction...that I have observed. Okay? Yet this week, you have gone out of your way to reply to my comments for no reason...no reason because the comments you replied to were in fact, nonsense, short or pretty much totally innocuous. Yet you took the time to reply and have sent me about 5 Attention Engine requests this week alone...even though the comments you replied to and drew my attention to were not worthy of any reply and even though we have never uttered a word to one another. Now someone else can dazzle me with their memory and tell me otherwise, but to my knowledge, we have not. The replies you made to my minor comments on totally non-controversial ballots seemed to want to draw me into some kind of debate. Thanks, but no thanks. I've been on here a long time and I do play nice, as 99% of everyone will tell you. I'm sure you do too, but I'm not up for any kind of needless battles. Thanks for understanding.
On one last note, just reading your comment above, with it's overt efforts to insult, tells me I made the right decision. But again, if some observant person wishes to Dazzle me with their wisdom, I will reverse my thinking on this issue and everything will be Pink like roses.

On my ballot? Of course I did. I removed you from my ingore list to see how you'd interact, but all you did was post another insulting comment. I don't want you on my ballot like that. If you had posted something civil, I wouldn't have cared, but all you did the minute you saw I had removed you, was to go on the attack. Very immature if you ask me. Have a great day!
I would like to point out though, that I deleted it AFTER reading the comment of yours above. So you must be psychic to have posted asking me BEFORE I actually did it. Either that or you're going to try and run around and claim your comments are being deleted. Just so you know, LCD can verify that or not, as can we all, because all we have to do is click on your comments to see if it is still there. I wouldn't use that tact if I were you.
