[+] serious ballot by thesoothsayer ACTIVE Wed Jun 13, 07 - Thu Jun 12, 08 There is an unknown number of non-citizens meandering all over this Country due to insufficient border security and employers (both Government and private) willing to hire aliens without knowledge of whether they should even be in this Country...I believe there's an effort underway to nationalize drivers licenses but I haven't seen any news on where that issue stands right now...while that would be over-riding States Soveriegn rights, that would not cover everyone (non-drivers), then there's social security cards which is not considered to be a valid identity card (?) ...Legal citizens have many forms of id which can verify who they are...but apparently this is not enough...with millions of individuals in this Country illegally, is it time for a National Identity card, or do you think such a system is a bad idea ?
