Voted : We like to THINK they look better because they seemhow "exotic" to us.
I'm a fair melange of ethnicities (Native American, Black, and Welsh), and I don't think I'm all that good-looking. Though there are a few knockout blendings, such as a girl I dated in college who had a Black father and an Italian mother. She could melt the pavement just by looking at it.
The Bush twins are reasonably attractive, so the human/chimp mix works pretty well.
Voted : It depends upon the mixture involved...
^ Hey Cranky, next time warn a guy when you toss out a mega zinger! Now to the ballot question, I would venture to speculate that it depends upon the mixture involved... Although Truths example is quite interesting, I'm not certain if he is sharing a compliment or a horror example
cranky, yeah, but I heard that they're pretty dumb

Hey babs, next time warn a guy when you toss your tongue into another liberals ass for some mega brown nosing!
As for the ballot question, why does it depend on the mixture involved Babs? Are you racist against certain mixes or something? What have you got against some mixes? Or is any mixture ok as long as it doesnt contain any white male, right?
^ Ladies and Gentlemen, this is an example of your brain on all the street Pharmaceutical drugs known to mankind, scary isn't it...
"this is an example of your brain on all the street Pharmaceutical drugs known to mankind" I wish! Maybe then I would be too doped up to notice the constant stream of sycophantic babbling you produce from that big greasy mouth of yours.
I think they are, because the DNA that is mixed is from a wider gene pool. I wonder if you have a better chance of having a kid who is not just better looking, but smarter too?

^Aya, having genes from different gene pools is definitely beneficial in that it decreases the negative effects of inbreeding and genetic disease. However, the outcome of the genes also depends on the desirable traits associated with the genes. For insatance, someone with a genetic disease is likely to have vastly different genes from your own, yet you wouldnt logically assume that reporduction with them would result in "better2 children, would you? Further, genes are only desirable in that they let us adapt to our environment. As a asimple example, imagine a world with two races, one black and one white. The desirability of the genes of each race would depend on the repvailing climate, black skin being better suited to hot weather and vice-versa for cold weather. Now imagine that the planet was getting progressively colder. As a white male, though mating with a black women would diversify the genes, it it would nNOT maximise my childrens chances of survival. Thus, inbreeding is not always the most important factor. It is also important to note that many "races" do, in fact, have mor ein common with one another than one would suspect. Thus, there may be more chance of inbreeding between a white individual and an individual of a number of african genetic subsets, than between two white individuals.
Not to mention the subjectivity of the term "good looking".

My daughter is a "half-breed" and has an awesome skin tone to go along with her beauty.
