Are "trailer parks" strictly a phenom of the US culture? People here often make jokes concerning the low status of their residents, even at times suggesting that "God" doesn't approve, and that's why they always get hit by tornadoes, floods, etc.
But, there is an "up" side. If you have chosen to live in a camp trailer instead of a mobile home, you can always pull up stakes and move, easily taking your home with you. Do you secretly envy the lives of those in trailer parks? A really wise sage once said, "Foxes have holes...;" but, would you hole up with "this" fox?

I have lived in a "mobile home park" for a year after college. it was nice. mostly retired people, near the beach, people cared about each other, good security (gated) and huge place with jacuzzi and two car garage.

I miss living there.

obviously not the stereotype trailer parks, but my point is that it really depends on those who live there, and not the homes themselves that makes the difference.
