After all, I did pay U.S. dollars for a product supposodly from an American company.

When talking to that company's representatives, do you think it would be beneficial to the company's image that you can understand whoever you are talking to?

I admit, I do get a chuckle when the voice on the other line says in a barely understandable, thick Indian accent. "Hello, my name is Brad. How can I provide you with excellent service today?"

Yes, please speak a language I can understand.
It would be nice, but I am in no position to make any demands.
No, you racist, xenophobe redneck.
Deman - no, demand/ask - yes
Tell 'em you chose to key the "English" option. Please transfer the call.

YES, tell them...it's not rude if you can't understand them, it's rude that they aren't speaking in a language you as an American don't understand. So you're not being rude, they are. Chances are they didn't just get off the boat yesterday, learn the fucking language or get out! It's a respect thing, i don't go to Mexico without knowing a little spanish to get me by, it's about respect.

"How i can help yoooo" No, it's "how can i help you?" God that reminds me of this Jerky Boys CD i haveMAG_rofl He prank calls this place and gets the "How i can help yoo" and he says "No, it's 'How can i help you sir?'" and she REPEATS what she said before and he goes "get your manager, i can't even talk to you in the first place!"005

There's nothing wrong with asking for a person who speaks your lanuage.Sometimes I hang up on the reps if their accent to deep. And it's not just Indians either once I got an Aussie who accent was so thick I could barely understand when he said hello.
