And I sincerely hope it's not catching... I've said, pretty consistently, over the past couple of years, that this isn't my world anymore, that none of the benchmarks are there. I shudder at such crap, knowing that Walter Cronkite would have walked away from the news desk before reading any of this stuff.

It's a mad world we are living in

The other day Michael Moore was scheduled to appear on Larry King to discuss his new film and America's current health care crisis, but he was bumped at the last minute so they could interview Paris Hilton whom had just been released from prison. The media needs to get it's shit together and Americans need to hold them to a higher standard of accountability.
Give the people what they want. The people need to change their collective pop culture interests.
Voted : I don't read much about celebrities
... but reading about Paris Hilton kills brain cells.

Maybe it is something in the water..I have trouble following the logic of our "Administrators" and media coverage of just about everything...

My own MOM asked me the other night if I'd paid attention to that Paris BULLSHYT. WHAT??? I stopped watching TV so many years ago, I refuse to witness how idiotic people are. Just a few minutes of TV "news" is enough to tell me all I need to know about the folks watching it.
