I'd have to shop there to begin with. My debit card has been there a couple of times this month (I let my sister do some shopping for me). I'm evil. Punish me.
I stopped shopping at Walmart and convinced my dad to stop as well. Too many human rights abuses and the fact that I watched our city go from a busy shopping area to literally nothing, can't even buy a pair of socks in down town Elmira, I kid you not. This all happened after Walmart moved to the outskirts of town.
Plese paint bargain shoppers as "unpatroitic". Unless we are living in a communist country, we are free to shop at stores that give us the best deal, that's what capitalism is all about. Educating shoppers and making choices should be the focus, not "boycotting" a shop just because it has the lowest prices, that's just silly. Now, if the consumers are educated to shop at Walmart for the "advertised items" without touching the overpriced items, the walmart infrastructure will collapse almost overnight - because there are even mom and pop stores that can compete with walmart in some items these days.

You are right about the Chinese wanting to hurt Americans. At work, for Christmas, we each recieved a nice looking travel duffle bag, made in China. Inside, I noticed someone had written with a pen in Chinese on the lining. I asked a Chinese employee where I work to translate it. She said it was a curse on whomever used the bag!

RobinGaylord before you condemn people who shop at Walmart as America haters who support slave labor in Communist China consider why people are shopping at Walmart. They have fairly desent products for cheap prices and many Americans who are at the lower end of the economic specturm shop their because it is affordable.Ofcourse they need to improve their inspection of products from China and make sure that they are up to the FDA's standards but that does not mean WalMart hates America or the American people.
LCD and Corrupt- I think a person can commit a racist act and not be a racist yet doing so would still be an endorsement of racism. People who shop at Walmart may not vocally support slavery but their actions do. When you make a purchase in a capitalist society you are casting a vote. Anyone can have the lowest prices by using slavery or other human rights violations to manufacture your goods. Having the lowest price is NOT by any stretch of the imagination the sole basis of a good value. Capitalism is regulated by power not morality. It is our responsibility to use moral judgments in our purchases. It is a freedom we must use or risk losing it.
^What if the person is so poor that they can not afford to shop at any other store but WalMart? Is the individual obligated to sacrafice himself and family for social justice? Also what would happen to the Chinese who are deprived of employment by Walmart, would they be able to feed their families?
I don't see where Walmart items are such a bargain myself, I can find same items else where at same or even less price
What do you mean "still"? They just make joke...
