^"agenda pushed on that majority? That ends the article."
Voted : he was right to have that opinion
this is tasteless parasite behaviour. I'm certainly not homophobic but this is exploitational.
^But most of the graduating class could care less, as I said we didn't even know there was an event until we left the arena and happened to look across the street.

"they exposed to this event those who attended the graduations" Yeah, like everyone every day is exposed to those sickening heterosexuals flaunting their sexuality all about. "I believe the majority of residents in our community don't harbor any animosity toward those who live alternative life styles. But it is fair to have this agenda pushed on that majority" What agenda? To have the same rights as every other human being? To live their lives in dignity, to hold hands with their partner in public, to be able to marry or similar, to have the government out of their bedroom? Oh excuse me for asking for HUMAN RIGHTS. Oh I forgot. The POOR OPPRESSED MAJORITY. That whole statement he made is loaded with homophobia and bigotry. The guy's head is so far up his ass he can't see the bigotry he spews out. He might as well just said something about blacks seeking civil rights as being uppity ...... What an ass.
its about timing FF. this is what is known as "bad timing". But foam on by all means.... foam on... heheheheheeee
I don't see why the Gazette made an issue out of this.

He's more than a little homophobic.
Voted : he was right to have that opinion
usually having two major event in a small town is a bad idea, it does take a focus away from one event to another. No reason why it couldn't have been scheduled one per weekend, we used to do that in the small town I lived in, each weekend we had an interesting event in the town square.

Voted : Don't know
Does sound more than a little clueless and paranoid, though.
Voted : He is a homophobe
I don't like to throw labels around but I think it is clear from the author's words that he does harbor resentment against gays.I'm not buying the whole "this town isn't big enough for two events" argument,it's just a smoke screen to hide the real reason why he doesn't like the parade across the street. If it was a veterans parade or a walk for cancer do you think he would care?
Voted : He is a homophobe
There are some people who would complain about a gay pride parade on any of the 365 days of the year.
Voted : He is a homophobe
I don't see why he would care in the first place, the guy needs to get out of his house and enter the realm of the REAL world...
