I saw Sammy Hagar in concert a few times during his solo career and he was pretty good. I loved Montrose, they had some excellent music. So when Sammy joined Van Halen, I was sure we were in for some ass-kickin' music! Boy was I disappointed. They should have combined the Montrose style along with the early Van Halen style and they would have been an awesome band.

But then, I've only liked two songs he ever put his voice to, "Dreams" when he was with Van Halen and his own "Two Sides of Love".
