Is there a doctor in the house? How about a phlebotomist?
Voted : How much the area is used
Maybe the limb you use more has larger muscles so it pushes the veins outward or there's less fat on that limb. I use my right arm more. The veins there are mosre visible than on my left. But the fewer that are visible on my left are more raised, so that's the arm from which phlebotomists draw blood.
Voted : Poor blood flow
In my case, since I had my heart attack back in '83, blood flow to the left side of my body has decreased somewhat, shifting to the right side. As a result, my right hand and arm are constantly tingly.
Hmmmm. The part of my body with the most veins sticking out doesn't get nearly enough of a workout.
