Unfortunately. My mother's been on my case for the past couple of weeks, because I kinda need a haircut. (Well, I do, but I've been too distracted to make an appointment.) So what if my grey's growing arrow-straight, while the black's growing in tight curls? I don't really give a shot. I picked up my sense of appearances from a friend in college, Howard. He was a farmer taking day classes. nice guy all around. Wore bib overalls or jeans, muddy boots, rarely combed his hair and drove a '72 El Camino with mudflaps, two guns in the window rack. But, once you talked to him, you got a clearer picture of the man. Westpoint '63 (third in his class), commanded an artillery unit in 'Nam for three tours, got almost every decoration in the book, missed getting the Button only because his third witness was killed in a firefight in Laos the day before he was due to testify. Once out of the Army, he went to UVa, got a BS and an MS in AgScience. Those day classes he was taking? Toward his doctorate. 'Nuff said for me.

because different people have different tastes. Most people I find attractive are far from the hollywood's image, and I am sure there are others who agree with me. honestly, how many men would find walking sticks that they trot out these days as attractive?

Look at shoe stores (mostly women's shoes), clothing stores (mostly women's clothing) and all the things they do to themselves (nails, waxing and so forth). I'm glad I don't have to do all that, although I appreciate it.
^really? I never wear makeup, rarely do my nails, and don't shave my legs unless wearing a skirt. And i think i'm still attractive
