I don't think it will. You've still got it with you? Jeez, must be one of those new-gen monsters that AV programs haven't caught up with yet. Check your pvt msgs.
^I don't know but it really is ruining my stuff. But at least for now it's only video game stuff.
it's worth it to just start fresh. start with a fresh system, and install firewall and virus utility FIRST, then scan before installing anything. if you set the setting high on zonealarm, it won't let you do activex install, without informing you first. and don't go to silly porn sites with tons of tricks and viruses (there are plenty of porn sites without it :)) I have a stable system for the last 2 years without one virus/ trojan, and it's such a relief not to have to worry about security/slow system. if you must do hazardous surfing, just use a sacraficial computer without anything important on it.

watch real carefully if there are rootkit activity. if you do, you must do a deep level format from install disk to get rid of it.

^Thanks for the tips lol. I don't care about porn but my brother does but before he ever goes online I always check everything plus I have everything up and protecting at all times. Even when I'm on a game even though you're supposed to turn it off. I don't have the option of a new computer plus I have no back-ups. I know where I got this problem from. Screw it I got it from Diablo 2 online. They should have a better system then they do. I'm never going back there stupid hackers. Yup so far I don't know what it is since I can't find it anywhere.

Its a good idea to always have an up to date anti-virus and firewall program on your PC. Can't make it any more simple than that. There are even free ones, sometimes from your internet provider. There are a number of very good anti-spyware programs that are free. The best being Ad-aware and Spybot search and destroy.
^Thanks. Oh and before someone askes did I open any bad e-mail no. I only open mail I know whom it's from.
^ that's good, unless of course someone you know got an e-mail with a virus from someone else and forwards it. that's why tincan is right. you need top of the line anti-virus protection.
^LMAO well I don't have top of the line since I'm having a problem. Yes I have it though and it has saved my computer quite a few times but right now it's useless. Also I tried system restore just to make myself some more time but guess what. All my system restores are corrupt so I'ves gots me a smart bug.
^I'm having the same problem with my computer and I tried system restore, it worked for few hours but after restarting it found it's way back.:(
^Hmm. More fun for the bugs lol :(
