The casual Guns N Roses fan will not even admit that the Blue Use Your Illusion II album is the best album, lyrically and musically, that GNR ever made.

And in terms of songs on that album, Estranged is the most amazing. Hauntingly sad lyrics, two guitar solos, including the one in the 9 minute long video where Slash comes up out of the water, totally amazing... this song was the pinnacle of GNR achievement. And actually, if I were to pick a second best song, I would go with Pretty Tied Up, just based on the last refrain, "I've come to know the cold..." absolute lyrical genius...
