Voted : I look and feel terrible when I cry.
I feel ugly and gross when i cry. But i don't get conforted when i cry so it's different, i never got comforted so then i get angry and the tears turn into anger.
I've noticed about myself, girls love it when I cry, not that I run around crying 24/7, but on the few occassions I cry in public, funerals and such, girls just want to hold me against their bosum, and thats always a good thing. :)
Imagine never getting comforted when you cry, and instead get mocked or laughed at? It's horrible. I never cried when i was a little girl, EVER. Except i'd hide in my room with my stuffed animals and talk to them...but i had a strange childhood.
usually crying for me is a way to vent frustration, like when i was younger and get picked on a lot, I had a lot of anger, but didn't know what to do, so i would cry

I cry from pure grief, which dominates my life at present. I have a great pair of prescription sunglasses that I wear when I go out.

^I'm sure it is an awful thing not to receive comfort when you cry or to be laughed at. I remember one time while visiting my aunt in a Senior citizens complex, this elderly lady, probably in her 80's was just standing in the hall crying, I asked if she was okay and hugged her, that's all she needed, I could literally see the change , she was so appreciative. Her family had all passed and she was alone, it must be a terrible thing to out live everyone you loved and cared for.
^that was for social, but I'm sorry you are feeling so down mojo wish there was something I could do to help

(a million hugs to you, lady)
Larry you also learn not to hug others when they are crying when you're not used to being held yourself. I want to start feeling more compassion for crying people... *hugs to mojo and all that are crying* Thanks larry...you're right, it probably could help.
Larry you also learn not to hug others when they are crying when you're not used to being held yourself. I want to start feeling more compassion for crying people... by socal_sweetie I have friends who can't do that, my dad gets emotional so easy, when he used to drop me off at school or friends house, he would tear up and hug me, even now he does that. My friends kid me about it a little, but that dosen't bother me.
Voted : I never cry.
I hope you feel better.
^ why don't you cry sky?

and i get sinus headaches too. i don't like to cry - usually it's out of frustration and it deteriorates into anger.
It's usually cathartic, in the end. A feeling - or set of feelings - wells up inside you, building and swelling until the pressure becomes too great for any of your other outlets. The feeling have to go somewhere. Better out than in.
