Great because it has induced people to read more. Grim because the books ARE demonic and DO lead the unwary way from God (IMO). And, as a Christian, I should know better, but I am totally hooked on them. If there were a hundred more Harry Potter episodes, I would see them all and love them.
How are they demonic? My grandma says the same thing "It's EVILLLL" it will lead you to hell! So i can't watch a movie about witches but put on a gun slinging, "kill 'em all" cowboy movie anyday?? *hmmm*
It's fantasy! It has less sex/drugs/deaths/murder/mayhem than you hear on the local news.
^and that's not directed at forgetmenot obviously since she watches them, but the people who say and truly believe "it's demonic"
SS, I got a relative who won't take her kids to see the movie because it takes kids away from Islamic values. WTF?? People, it's a kid's book, no matter how dark you think it is.
