Yes and set the home security system, we even have cameras for the outside. I wouldn' need to go so far as to put bars on my windows but we do play it safe.

For those of you who haven't been watching the news this week, this question is asked because of the home invasion in Cheshire, Connecticut where three people were horribly murdered. Apparently, the murderers got into the house through an unlocked door. Here's the link for the story:

Yes. I've got a creepy neighbor that I don't trust as far as I can see him. If that far. That and on a rare occasion there's been thefts from people who come from the nearest big city to prey on the elderly out here in the rural areas. It's rare, but I don't want to push my luck and be the exception.
