COMMENTS:
There's a place for everything, and if you want nature, Manhattan Island ain't it.
Not anymore, but to me it's sad , I personally don't find anything great about NYC, from afar, the skyline is nice but once you enter the city, does nothing for me.
I agree larry, it looks nice from a distance one up close but cement is cement

Voted : It's Jersey for me
People make fun of New Jersey. I went there to visit my boyfriend's parents. What a beautiful state! We drove through the Watchung mountains; we spent a day in New Brunswick at the Rutgers college library; we spent another day at the ocean at Asbury Park. If you have only seen Pacific beaches, you have no idea how much more beautiful Atlantic beaches are. The current there keeps the waters much cleaner and the beaches have fine white sand.
Voted : It's a yin-yang thing
Manhattan is cool, but so are trees. I'm confused now.
Voted : I just adore a penthouse view
larry, I luv ya (in an utterly manly way, mind you), but give me Park Avenue. The stores!
forgetmenot, some of Jersey coast line is beautiful, we used to go there a lot, and I know that they wont' take Manhattan, but Times Square or Fresh air, ha ha truth, if you were my wife, it would be goodbye city life, not that I think the wife is suppose to do what ever the husband says, :) but if you want to keep Manhattan you can, but give me that country side. Look at that picture Don't it always seem to go That you don't know what you got till it's gone They paved paradise and put up a parking lot

as for new jersey, drive through trenton or newark. then talk to me.
^ I guess everyone has their own taste in opinions on city or country life, but I've been to NYC many times, and I hate it. Those tall buildings do nothing for me, but hey, that's just me and how I feel. I'm know they aren't going to revert it back to what you see in the picture.
^ I know
It's not just NYC I don't like, it's most large cities
I appreciate cities, totally, but I've also started seeing all the buildings as big piles of trash.

(^^ yah, as cities go, I like NYC best. I used to live in the village and I have to say it rocked, but I wouldn't do it now, I like playing in the dirt.)

well, one things for sure, the heat and humidity in metropolis is opressive. just going outside for a little while and i was soaked with humidity so for sure, the wide open spaces of the country are better on days like today.
^ to get an idea of the sheer size of central park.
I like nature....plants and animals...wildlife. Kev it does look nice in Manhatten...i should post a pic of L.A. for comparison of nature...and erm...shit.
Yeah, I prefer wide open spaces, rural areas. "I was raised off of rural Route 3 Out past where the blacktop ends We'd walk to church on Sunday morning And race barefoot back to Johnson's fence That's where I first saw Mary On that roadside pickin' blackberries That summer I turned the corner in my soul Down that red dirt road." -Brooks & Dunn
