I mean, things that are important, but they weren't willing to let you have the day off for them. What was the most important/valid?

I have a good boss, it's just that others don't, and I'm curious because I'm researching for a screenplay about a boss from hell, and I have very little to work with except for previous experiences, and I only ever had two bad bosses in my life...
