I am christian-orthodox just like my parents, but sometimes I am thining about turning to Catholicism and becoming a catholic priest. The only thing that I still like about the orthodox church is byzantine music. And yes, I've noticed this is not exactly the kind of answer you were looking for.

Yes, and I don't know what God thinks about it.

My parents are/were both Southern Baptists, while I was dubbed Roman Catholic. (It involves a tiny bit of kidnapping, folks.)

My parents don't have a religion, and neither do I. However, my opinions about spiritual and moral matters probably differ from theirs. I'm not 100% sure what their opinions are.

My real mother was raised Pentecostal Church of God, holy rollers.. But don't think she was especially religious? My dad, did not seem particularly interested or concerned about religion.. My step-mother went to the Church of the Nazarene.. I was exposed to the Church of Christ, Pentecostals, and others.. but then Rosicrucians, Unity, and others.. But now prefer the Unitarians, for the most part.. and an undefined kind of mysticism, so to speak.. Not really 'affiliated' with anything, actually.. Whatever 'the Truth' happens to be, that's fine by me.. But humans are very imaginative and inventive, they 'believe' a great deal without Knowing much! You have to get away from Earth to enjoy an Objective point of view!
