well notice a pattern with those ballots? whats the common theme you see? iraq, the united states, alex jones/9-11, etc. either its someone who's got a hardon to make the usa look bad or it's someone who's trying to make us look good. which category got the most? and you know i saw it happen in my ballot and yeah it did piss me off that some fat f'ng loser was jacking around with my ballot.
and dude, you can't blame cranky for thinking it was you. alot of peeps did. i wouldn't ride him too hard on that. if you say it wasn't you thats good enough for me.
It is really perplexing. I don't know how someone can vote 10 times in the time it takes me to refresh the page.
Voted : I don't care but I clicked on this ballot anyways
i don't know but you're not the first one to bring this to light. it's been raised in a ballot before. check it out. on this issue i think you said it was votes coming in from the outside. maybe that's it. i don't really care cuz if someone wants to be an ass, they're going to be an ass.
Voted : Someone has too much time on their hands
Good research, Fiddle. Something doesn't jive here. I wonder if Jimmy Carter is exacting his revenge by stuffing ballots.
^ the question is what vote options are going up. see the point? it's not just that they are, its what choice is being rammed up that matters too. lets call it like it is -- the votes that go up are strangely alike. so someones got an agenda.
Voted : I don't care but I clicked on this ballot anyways
Now look Andrietta, the only fat f'ing loser jacking around with your perverted crotch watcher ballot was that one you share your computer with, you know the one you couldnt remember bringing home that night because you were too pissed on Babycham
Oh i forgot to add my expression
^ hey asshole, i was talking about you. dude, stop ranting with your stupid ass homophobic crap on every ballot i'm on. no wonder everyone thinks you're a fucking fat loser asshole -- cuz you are! you just made a total idiot out of yourself. i'd ask you how it feels, but you're so used to doing it, you're probably numb to it. asshole.
^ wasn't talking about you
This site would be boring without moi
^ dude, you're seriously a laughingstock. on and off this site people think you're just an asshole. cuz you are. funny i was not even talking about you in this ballot, but you assumed i was. that's some self-esteem you have there. you're pathetic.
You have a point, Kev. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is edging out Jimmy Carter by only 1% on ballot #113811. I wondered who they pissed off.
here's a guest comment. i no longer approve didly, so it's a copy and paste Guest Ballot Comment :1172135 comment : it seems all the pro-Bush, pro-Israel, anti-Muslim votes are going up. Almost as if there was a "Heritage Foundation" agenda... ^ not saying its the case, not saying it's not the case but guest must be watching too.
Yes, its obvious there is someone pushing an agenda. It possible the ballots gaining around 50 a day might be the result of someone with a bunch of aliases. The "cellphone nonsense" and "wall" ballots get lots of votes throughout the day. Surprisingly, the "wall" ballot did not seem to be part of the ballot stuff last night although the "cell phone nonsense" was. With the unreal number of votes these are getting perhaps an external website has linked to those ballots. Just a guess. I don't know if that's the reason. I've noticed that neither of those ballots have received any votes since I posted this ballot.
its either a computer whiz who knows how to do it or someone e-mailed the link to all their friends and told them to vote or it's linked some place. i bet it's that someone e-mailed the link to a bunch of people and got them to vote. either way someone is dicking around.
Voted : Someone has too much time on their hands
I don't know if they are inside or outside, but there seem to be individuals or groups of individuals who seem intent on altering poll results...why I don't know but it speaks volumes of what kind of people they are and it's sad to be obsessed with changing reflected results when everybody knows that's what is happening...
I raised this very issue a few weeks ago in ballot ballot #115603 In that ballot you were quite angry and in fact, added me to your ignore list. It was not just I who watched the vote spamming take place, it was several users. When we watched it happening, the ballots being rigged were all about Israel or the Jimmy Carter ballots and the choices being rigged were always the pro-Israel choices or in the case of the Jimmy Carter ballots, the choices that were negative toward Carter were being rigged. So it's nice you make a ballot about it, but at the time I raised it, you seemed more angry than anything and your reasoning was that people were voting legitimately because the ballots were being accessed by other sites or in searches. I assume now you feel otherwise? The examples given in particular was the ballot "Is the Israeli Wall Justified." In that one, the choice for yes was clearly being spammed and artificially voted up. When that choice was deleted to test the theory of vote spamming, you added it back in and sure enough, within 3 days, that choice of "yes" was up to well over 600. Now it would appear that other ballots are conveniently being vote rigged and it is no longer just the ballots in which Israel is the subject or Jimmy Carter. So may I assume now that your anger at the time I made the ballot was unjustified? Apparently now, people are vote spamming other types of ballots, so the attention is off the original issue of the types of ballots and choices that were being clearly vote rigged. As for why it was believed you were doing it, that is not something I have control over.
I was angry because you took it upon yourself to delete ballot choices without telling anyone or taking responsibility. Two wrongs don't make a right.
Voted : It must be outside voters (LOL)
Serioualy though, bewfore i made an account i was an outsider and i would vote on things...but not on the same thing, alot of people do know about this site they just don't make accounts. Maybe 20 different people ARE voting...who knows.
You're right Fiddlefaddle, two wrongs do not make a right. But let me ask you this. When people accuse you of vote spamming or when people are assuming it is you doing it, do you like it? When you say it's not you, do you expect or hope people will believe you? Most likely, yes, you do. So you assume much when you say that I "took it upon myslef" and "without telling anyone" and "without taking responsibility." First of all, you are assuming and in a sense, accusing. So you know, it was several users involved in watching, documenting and discussing the obvious vote spamming. For all you know, LCD himself was accutely aware of the situation. In fact he was. So on that point, you are very mistaken. But that is not what made you angry, because once again, the accusations of Anti-Semitism were tossed about without proof and without care. In your own words, you said you did not really care about the vote spamming and you said that removal of a "legitimate" choice was wrong. Was it, given that it was so obviously spammed and rigged to get the result the spammer wanted? So how is it legitimate? It is not because those who voted fairly, basically lose that vote because it is corrupted. If a President was elected due to blatanat and proven voter fraud, would you say he/she was the legitimate winner? Obviously, those who voted for the true winner would argue that in fact, the winner was actually only the winner due to fraud. In the argument, when we all raised this issue in June, you also said that we "were not happy with the results, so we tried to change them by deleting the choice." I'm paraphrasing, but that was the basic sentiment you held. Many argued the opposite because in fact, what obviously was happening, someone or a few people decided that THEIR choice should win and set about to make that happen by vote rigging. So it was not any of us that changed the results, it was in fact, the guilty party who is vote spamming. What I find incredulous is that this issue now seems to be one you're concerned with, even though a few of us brought this exact debate to light over a month ago. I'm glad you finally see it for the problem it is, but I am going to be direct and say that you may owe some of us a form of an apology. I can't be blamed that people assumed and still do assume you are doing the vote rigging. That is not my fault. But I don't think you should be assuming what my actions were when you never once asked me or approached me. You assumed you knew the reality and to be honest, you were off the mark. Your temprement went from calm and rational to very agressive and hostile. Like I said, I can't be faulted for what several people believe. My issue was from day one, was that vote spamming was very much proven and a net was set to find out who was doing it. Given that you appeared almost immediately on each of the 2 ballots in question to comment on the corrupted choice being removed, people naturally wondered why. I chalked it up to coincidence. ballot #115603
Sorry to make you read so much. Aya is right, I need to edit my posts. Sorry! :)
"It is really perplexing. I don't know how someone can vote 10 times in the time it takes me to refresh the page. by FiddleFaddleOnLSD on Thu Aug 02, 07 8:54am" It's software. Same as most spamming advertisements are done with software. I once saw votes on a ballot choice climb by 100 in only a few minutes (ballot 114626) for the choice 'I never bought the Conspiracy Theory in the first place'. That ballot is only 2 months old, yet it has over 4,000 votes. That is very strange. I mentioned this vote spamming on his ballot, and wideheadofknowledge's only reply was "Hey, DoK! Fuck off!" And FiddleFaddleOnLSD, you've argued in defense of this obvious spamming many times in the past, everyone is aware of this.
"Hey, DoK! Fuck off!" Hey, put that up as a choice. I'd vote on it. Weirdo.
It's interesting that you sign yourself as a weirdo. I agree that you are a weirdo.
^ 'Yeah, I know you are what am I?' Lol, is that the best you can manage? I'm gonna pull your pigtails in the playground!
