Have you ever tried to throw your shoes over a power line before? I tried it once and it wasn't so easy to do.
So what do you do with your old shoes?

Throw them out
Give them to the Goodwill
Sell them at yard sale
Throw them over a power line
Throw them in a shoe tree
Recycle them
Hide them on trains
Give them to dogs
give them to the homeless

I have an old computer mouse dangling from the power line above the street behind my house.
Been there for over 5 years so far.

I wear my shoes until they fall apart. Literally.

^ Same here. I've got bad arthritis in one of my feet and to a lesser extent in both knees. So when a pair of shoes start getting really good and comfortable, I wear them as long as I can. At least around the house and nearby. I usually like to look at least half decent when I go out in public. lol

But I do give the one's I don't want to wear anymore to Goodwill. The ones that are too worn to carry to Goodwill, I'll toss out for my dogs to play with.
