"And the men who hold high places...must be the ones who start...to mold a new reality...closer to the heart..." (directed toward HomeInsec monitor in charge of spying on B&W, in hopes that this is directed to 1600 Penn Ave SW, Wash, D.C.)
Who, Ian Rush? No, he used to play for Liverpool.
^ Philistine. ;D
I like one or two of their songs. Some of their stuff is vile though, especially their 80s stuff.
I like some of their stuff.I have a new found respect for Neil Peart after discovering that he's actually the primary lyricist for the band. He's also a writer. Anybody who can write as deeply as are the lyrics of "Subdivisions" has my respect. Sprawling on the fringes of the city In geometric order An insulated border In between the bright lights And the far unlit unknown Growing up it all seems so one-sided Opinions all provided The future pre-decided Detached and subdivided In the mass production zone Nowhere is the dreamer or the misfit so alone (Subdivisions) In the high school halls In the shopping malls Conform or be cast out (Subdivisions) In the basement bars In the backs of cars Be cool or be cast out Any escape might help to prove the unattractive truth But the suburbs have no charms to soothe the restless dreams of youth Drawn like moths we drift into the city The timeless old attraction Cruising for the action Lit up like a firefly Just to feel the living night Some will sell their dreams for small desires or lose the race to rats .. get caught in ticking traps And start to dream of somewhere To relax their restless flight Somewhere out of a memory of lighted streets on quiet nights...
Voted : I prefer real music ,you know ,music played by blowing through a camels anus.
A good trio of canucks. Their lyrics are great. The melodies are a little too artsy-fartsy for me.
Voted : Sort of kind of well...
Rush Limbaugh is okay but I am no fan. I didn't know that Rush was a part of the rock group RUSH. LOL...just kidding
