^^lol les, when I was around 8 or 9 I got lice from staying over with friends, it was a terrible thing, my mom had to wash all those sheets and do all you mentioned. In my situation, apparently my friends parents knew their son had lice, and although they did treat they weren’t completely gone when I had the misfortune of laying on one of the beds. There is no shame in getting lice, the shame is keeping them.

But you should send him the bills.
Nah, it's unfortunate, but that's life.

Like Truth said, send them the bill. hehehe lol I know it's not funny, but I knew what this was going to be about before I clicked on it. I managed to go all through school without getting head lice. Then about 15 years ago, I stayed the night at a friend's house. A week or so later, I discovered that I had caught lice. I knew it was from their house because years before in school, her and her siblings would get notes sent home with them from the school nurse saying they had lice. Five years ago, she's living in a different place and has a kid of her own now. We went there for a house warming party and stayed the night again. Uh oh. A few days later on the phone she told me I might want to check my son's hair because her "friend's daughter" has head lice. Yeah, friend's daughter my ass. Like Larry said, the shame is not in having them, but in keeping them.
