It's not needed at all. But we've all been tossed into the Fear Blender. Well, the Chinese didn't have the option of going, as many other countries resorting to this did.
^ its like governments can control us fast enough. i guess you could expect this kind of thing in china but they're doing stuff like that in the united states, europe, etc.
