Her Majesty Is a pretty nice girl...
You know, I truly struggled with whether or not to post the ballot #117086 that britvic refers to here. I think Her Majesty had just come away from a meeting with our president. Her nose was no doubt "bent out of shape" by that meeting, and here on his ballot, we just see her unwinding. What's the bother with that?

britvic... typical British ignorance you display. American cuisine is generally a fusion of international styles. California cuisine uses primarily local foods and vegetables. Its healthy food and not at all like the British standard of gobs of fatty sausage thrown into anything including deserts.
Cajun cuisine also relies heavily on local ingredients. A good part of Cajun cuisine is based on French rustic cuisine and its methods of preparing food (as many of the immigrants there were French). Its a hearty and very tasty food. A few of the favorites are gumbo and jambalaya. I would take either of these any day over what is referred to as English "food".
Of course there is Tex-Mex and a variety of others. Almost all of these rely on fresh and healthy ingredients. All of which are quite tasty. Put any of these to a taste test against British "food" and they will win easily.
Go to New York, LA or other big cities where you can have authentic dishes prepared for you. In Britain, the only tasty dishes are not British "food" but imports of recipes from elsewhere. Your beloved "curry" is a perfect example.

Haha, type in 'American cuisine' and 'English Cuisine' into google. When you get the results click on the Wikipedia result for both.
Click on Cajun, in particular. You'll see where someone lifted big chunks of text. Pity he didn't lift it all, it shows a much bigger picture. Lol, would you be arsed?
