Sometimes they're resented and even hated by people outside of the clique. But some of them never strived to become popular or part of any clique, some of them were just being themselves and popularity just happened to come to them. Do you think that it's possible to become part of a clique just by being yourself? Yes, it is definitely possible, some people can't help it if they become popular. It is sometimes but very rarely the case. No, it is never possible, everyone who's in a clique got there by selling themselves into it.
