Voted : I would not stop loving, but could never speak to them again
Again, as Exhibit One, I ffer the Insane Sister. To date, she's done a few minor criminal acts (never been charged for them, because none have been reported, to the best of my knowledge). I love her dearly, but I don't like the human being she is, by any means. I couldn't bear to be around her, were she to commit a crime serious enough to have charges brought against her. I wouldn't be able to help with a defense financially, because I'm just scraping by myself. But wouldn't have to, odds are. Our mother would gladly take multiple mortgages out for her.
Voted : I would not stop loving them and would visit them in prison
i don't think it would be possible to stop loving my children -- other family members, well maybe. but not my children. I would offer them whatever support i could. I would not try to prove they were innocent if they were in fact guilty however

I don't think you can just turn off your love, but you CAN stop their ability to inflict pain upon you. It sometimes comes down to a case of emotional survival -- yours or theirs.
