Because, IMO, it would be like one of those classic comic-book fights between superheroes. Ten minutes in, both parties realize the inherent nobility of the other, stop and go for coffee. That, r another bad guy turns up, in which case they join forces to wipe the floor with the baddie's a$$, *then* go for coffee...
