Voted : What the f*ck are you up to up there?
It's your Creation. Get involved, okay?
Voted : How can you just sit there and watch us suffer?
^ EXACTLY what Truth said!!
Voted : Why does RobinGaylord obsessively make so many ballots about something he doesn't believe?
I hate to break it to you RG, but you preach on this topic more than the most crazed religious loony that I have ever known.
TinCan- I write about religious bigotry and the insanity it's founded on. I certainly believe that religious fanaticism exists and I think I have a moral obligation to expose and destroy it.
^spoken just like a religious fanatic convinced he has all the answers and that his way is the only way. There's not much of a difference. If you made an occasional ballot on the subject that would be one thing, but you don't. You make more ballots and comments on religion than any user on this site ever.
Voted : What's with the hair around the asshole?
ballot #45754
My god is the god of beer and I'd ask her "why did you have to make it so delicious?".
TinCan- So if people exhibit the same level of energy and commitment to their cause, their ideologies are equally as dangerous? I guess people who work hard to promote racial equality are as dangerous as the racists they are trying to educate into embracing diversity. More people have killed in the name of religion than any other cause. Don't you think we should at least reevaluate the dogmatic practices of theists? It seems like the sane thing to do. Unfortunately, there are too many sacred cows out there that no one wants to see challenged and the only way to get people to see how ridiculous it is to not question your beliefs is through transgressive acts, since even the simple idea of opening up a dialogue is offensive to the most staunch believers. Is it too much to ask people to question their religious beliefs? Especially if these same beliefs are responsible for the murder of more people in all of human history than any other ideology.
Hey, its fine if its your opinion. "More people have killed in the name of religion than any other cause." That's not really true especially in the 20th century. World War 2 wasn't a "religious" war. The Nazis and Japanese didn't do what they did in the name of religion. Neither did Stalin or Mao in the slaughter of their own people. There's at least 50 million dead in that and all were perpetrated by avowed atheists. BTW, don't be giving people zeros for things you think are true but aren't.
TinCan- Ask the Jews if WWII was about religion. Ask them about Stalin, since he love killing them too.
You need to read some history books RG. World War 2 wasn't about religion. The Holocaust was about anti-semitism and hate of religion by an atheist who took out his obsessive hate on those who practiced a religion he despised. The war wasn't fought because of the persecution of the Jews. It was fought because of Hitler taking over countries. Not much different than any other war. Stalin was an atheist as well. He didn't kill people because of his religion as he had none. Its atheists that have killed the most people by far.
